The Colon Free Zone is a free zone with more than 70 years of experience in global trade, it is the largest zone on the American continent and the main container center in Latin America.
Focused as a regional distribution center, it offers a logistics platform integrated by world-class ports, railways, highways and airports. It maintains the best connection to Central America, the Caribbean and the Andean Pact, ideal for establishing and promoting import and re-export businesses to the region.
This area offers a wide range of services such as: import, export, storage, sale, marketing, distribution and value-added logistics services, storage, packaging, packaging, labeling, classification, exhibition, among others, which are attractive to entrepreneurs, investors, tourists.
With 1,064.5 hectares, located on the Caribbean coast of Panama in the province of Colón, within the city of Colón near the recently expanded Panama Canal and around 2,000 companies operate that carry out intense commercial activities.
The Colón Free Zone was created by Decree Law No. 18 of June 17, 1948 as an autonomous institution of the Panamanian State.
