Foundation

José Arana and Felipe Carbonell create the Latin American Association of Air Cargo and Transportation Agencies (ALACAT). Given at one of its moving congresses in Panama, after analyzing the needs of the region's freight forwarders and based on the ideas that had been developed in the past

All the National Associations of the Americas and some Latin American Freight Forwarders were summoned. Congress organized by ABACA, June 12, 1982
