On May 18, 1973, the “Asociación Peruana de Agentes de Carga IATA y Transportes”, with the acronym “APACIT”, was founded in Lima as the representative institution of the IATA Cargo Agencies established in Peru.
Subsequently, in 1998 the name was changed to “Asociación Peruana de Agentes de Carga Internacional” (APACIT), being an association of natural and/or juridical persons, representative of the guild of International Cargo Agents, as well as agents related to foreign trade.
Our objectives are:
To promote the establishment of the best conditions for the development of air cargo and transportation in general, as well as related activities.
To organize national and international events related to the activities of freight forwarding agencies, and to participate in those that take place both in the country and abroad.
Affiliating with national and international entities engaged in related activities, establishing and maintaining relations with these entities
